Current Standard Sets, Rankings on Mobile and More!

KaijudoChannel.com has received quite a huge update yesterday and we are here to talk about all them, as well as what to expect on this website in the future.

Let's start with a cool feature that will help a lot of people out there. I have seen many people in the community post on the Dojo asking what sets are legal in the upcoming Standard format. Well, hopefully those questions will never have to be asked again with the new widget we added on the top-right of the home page: Current Standard Sets! This little widget will be updated every time a new set or new block releases. You may also click each set to see what cards are in that set.

Next, we have a huge update on the mobile side of the site: Rankings on mobile! Rankings has been missing on the mobile side for quite some time now and we are happy to say that you can finally browse the ranking pages on your mobile devices now when using the mobile version of the site.

Lastly, with the feedback of Stephen M on the Dojo, we have finally updated the database search form a tad. The Multi-Civ dropdown has now added an option to "Exclude Non-Selected Civs," meaning you will not see Aqua Strider when you select Water and Darkness anymore if you select that new option. It is also important to note that the Format dropdown menu has been set to Standard by default as it will be the main format people will be playing. I can see how it can be annoying to always select Standard everytime you are trying to search Standard-only cards. Of course, if you want to search through all cards, just select the Open option in the Format dropdown menu.

Those are all the updates we have to share for now, but stay tuned for more exciting features in the future. We have also noticed a huge interest for a page dedicated to the rules of the game and organized play alongside card rulings possibly. We are currently analyzing this interest and thinking of the perfect way to help judges and players find any ruling faster and simpler than they can right now. Using WotC's official information in a centralized location will alow games to go much smoother than they have been lately. Stay tuned for that and enjoy all the new features, everyone!
